Impact of Press Releases

Starting in 2008, the MPE issues press releases (PR) on its own. To somehow "measure" the impact of such PRs on the access rates to the MPE web pages, a statistics has been generated and is displayed here.

The first column "Statistics" shows per PR the total number of page hits in the calendar week before (bottom), during (middle), and after (top) the issue of the PR.
Counted are only accesses from different computers.

The second column lists the Impact Factor. This is the ratio of the page hits in the calendar week the PR was issued to the number of page hits in the week before.
g: sum of page hits of the two pages in German language only;   e: sum of page hits of the two pages in English language only;   s: sum of page hits of all four page types;
