SAV Processing

 

The SAV package reads, checks, and saves incoming data from the master data record tape generated at GSOC. It cleans the housekeeping, science, and attitude data files by deleting duplicate records and separates PSPC from HRI data. Accordingly, the data are copied to the appropriate disk for further processing (see Fig. 8.2).
