- Improved handling and stability of FITS with extensions
- Table-View: FITS-tables (as well as normal FITS files) can now be displayed
as plain tables. Selecting the column/row header plots the data at the bottom
- When opening a FITS-file with extensions, a dialog opens which lets the user choose which extension (or all) to open. The "Read all" checkbox has been removed
- QFitsView can read FITS Extension from command line
Syntax (on tcsh the argument has to be set in quotes):
QFitsView file_with_extensions.fits[2] --> loads extension 2
QFitsView file_with_extensions.fits[*] --> loads all extensions
- Possibility to display FITS header in "Read all"-dialog
- Saving/loading source/continuum markers to disk as FITS
- Added Ctrl-R shortcut for reloading
- EXTNAME keyword is always used in caption (when set in fits header)
- View-dependend controls are hidden when not needed
- Import function expanded & QFV now has a nice dialog box for import
- Fixed lots of bugs
- QFitsView does not rely on external pgplot files (rgb.txt, grfont.dat) anymore
- QFitsView on MacOS does not depend on X11 anymore
- QFitsView for MacOS and linux are 64bit
Fixes
- Proper support of files larger than 4GB on 64bit systems
- fixed crash on gaussfit with too few free points
- fixed crash on some dialog boxes
- fixed font issue (strange decimal point) on Mavericks
- remove Moffat fit from Fit2D Dialog (it never worked, anyway)
