Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss on the effects of departures from LTE and 1D model atmospheres in the derivation of C/O ratios in solar-like stars. I will show that using standard 1D LTE approximation largely underestimates C/O. I will discuss on the impact of such measurements in the context of planet formation.
