"Exceptional Scalar Field Theories"

We will discuss how specific scalar field theories play an analogous role to Yang-Mills and gravity, for instance from the perspective of soft theorems and on-shell constructability. We will then focus on the double copy aspects of these theories, outlining a group-theoretical classification of possible numerators. These allow us to construct different exceptional scalar field theories. In the second part, we will focus on the role of higher-derivative corrections as well as generalisations to De Sitter space-time.
