Origins Data Science Lab (ODSL) Kick-off Day
The ORIGINS Data Science Lab (ODSL) kick-off day for the new funding period brings together data science interests from across the ORIGINS science program.
The ORIGINS Data Science Laboratory (ODSL) is a specialized research facility under the Excellence Cluster ORIGINS, focused on developing novel analysis methods, algorithms, and computational tools to exploit high-dimensional and complex datasets from various physics disciplines such as particle physics, astrophysics, and astrochemistry. It employs modern machine learning, augmented reality, and visualization techniques for pattern recognition in noisy data and weak signal extraction. The integrated Dark Matter Data Center (DMDC) further supports the community by fostering a culture of open data and methods.
