The shortest integration time achievable in the normal readout mode of the detector (reset read read) is limited to 400 ms. For shorter integration times a stepper motor driven shutter is implemented in SHARP II+. The shortest possible integration time is 20 ms. In both modes, the time spend on the readout procedure is about 900 ms.
