Abstract:
This talk examines the critical transition from scientific invention to innovation benefiting society and economy. It explores how researchers can develop entrepreneurial thinking beyond scientific discovery and identifies key challenges scientists face when translating discoveries into innovations. The presentation addresses methods for igniting entrepreneurial thinking within scientific communities and proposes practical solutions for navigating the innovation journey. By understanding the barriers between scientific breakthroughs and successful innovation and entrepreneurial action, scientists can better position their work to generate meaningful societal and economic value while maintaining scientific rigor and focus.
