Direct cooperations with other institutes and industry

MPE and LMU: The Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE) together with the Ludwig- Maximilians-University Munich (LMU) inhabitate the leading role for the overall optical design development and the corresponding engineering and quality verification of the optical systems. MPE is responsible for installation and operation of the German data center with all data related processing and analysis.

MPIA: The Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA) in Heidelberg provides the NISP photometer instrument scientist and address the construction and development of the calibration source for the near infrared channel, which is required for the photometer. MPIA is also integrated into the data processing and analysis.

University of Bonn: The University of Bonn is integrated into the data processing and analysis.

OHB Systems AG (former Kayser-Threde AG): Mechanical Design, Hardware Development and Test, Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
