Statement on the status of the eROSITA instrument aboard Spektr-RG (SRG)

eROSITA has been in safe mode since 26th Feb 2022. To check the status and health of the instrument a technical checkout will be performed over the coming months. This has been initiated during the ground contact on 16 Nov 2022. The exact duration of the technical checkout will depend on whether any issue is found, considering the relatively long period eROSITA has spent in safe mode.
